EU sanctions against Rostelecom, VK’s heads not to affect firms

MOSCOW, Mar 10 (PRIME) -- The inclusion of heads of Russian telecom company Rostelecom Mikhail Oseyevsky and Internet company VK Vladimir Kiriyenko in the E.U. sanctions list will not impact the companies’ business, the firms said late on Wednesday in statements.

“The decision regarding Mikhail Oseyevsky will not affect the financial or operating activities of the company. Rostelecom will continue to work as usual: all the services and digital services are provided, the obligations to counter-agents are fulfilled,” Rostelecom said.

VK also said that putting Kiriyenko on the sanctions list will not impact the financial or operating activities of the company or its interrelation with partners. VK works normally.
